People have a clear constitutional right and a civic duty to report crimes they witness to the police. But what happens when the police are the ones committing the crime?

Not withstanding anything these officers did or did not do, but what liability does the ACLU have? SO called Activists and Defenders that they are. A young gay man comes with them with a complaint about wrongful arrest, officers harrassing the gay community; and beating handcuffed prisoners, do they report it to the Department so the officers in question are investigated and pulled off the street. NO they hide their intentions for perosnal agendas, leaving these officers to possibly continue doing what they are being accused of. Thier real agenda is most certainly evident in the letter to the Mayor in which they make reference to Memorial Day Weekend; which has nothing to do with the gay community.
A Wrong Arrest is wrong no matter who you are; but the fact that the ACLU falied to report it allowing these officers to continue to work these streets for a YEAR speaks clearly to what the intentions of ACLU is. Glad to see you are fighting for your client; but imagine what could of happened to anyone else in this communtiy if in fact the officers were doing what they are accused of.
ACLU Quit acting like you care for anyone but yourselves and your agendas
