As the No Excuses campaign winds down in the land some call the Crossroads of America, Hoosiers in Bloomington and Fort Wayne got their voices heard about legislation for equality last week. Four No Excuses members descended on Congressman Baron Hill’s office in Bloomington last week where they presented Jason Carnes, a field representative, details about several pieces of pending LGBT legislation including the Domestic Partner Benefits and Obligations Act and the Uniting America’s Families Act.  Mr. Carnes was receptive but admitted to not knowing that there was “so much legislation out ...
