Please Sign the Health Care "Public Option" Petition
John Boehner says he has not met anyone who supports a public option. Prove him wrong by signing the public option petition today. This is a project of Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) who is emerging as an honest and passionate advocate for rational health care reform.

a mandate without a public option will screw the middle class,WE MUST HAVE A PUBLIC OPTION IN THIS BILL.
oh and by the way i am a consertive southern democrat.what is wrong with the democratic congress ,they will mandate we buy ins from the ins. co.s without a public option, that will be political suicide. what in the hell do they thank people will do when they get that letter in the mail, and are forced to buy ins they can not afford.
TALK ABOUT OUT OF TOUCH,are these people brain dead.this bill must have a PUBLIC OPTION,IT MUST.
The public option is the only way to reduce health care costs. The insurance companies are robbing the doctors and us blind. They have caused doctors to leave hospitalls and put operating rooms in their own offices. WITHOUT PUBLIC OPTION AND DRASTIC HEALTH CARE REFORM HOSPITALS WILL CONTINUE TO GO BANKRUPT! My wife works for a company that has many hospitals they struggle to make ends meet. When the Insurance company makes 20% or more for doing nothing health care suffers. Doctors health clinics are using insurance companies to funnel or in fact force you to use doctors and clinics in their health group. Wake up America.
I am a registered voter in Virginia. The Public Option is the one GOOD thing about these proposed plans. Without the competition the insurance companies have NO incentive to stop robbing us blind. There obviously isn't enough competition in the private sector or they wouldn't be getting away with the high prices and bad coverage they've been giving us for years.
Now that I've signed "Yes" for the public option where can I sign "NO" to the mandate, because THAT is the problem with the bills, ESPECIALLY if there is no public option and the insurance companies can continue to charge us wickedly inflated prices that no one can afford?!
