AG Holder Testimony on Hate Crimes this Morning

This morning the Senate Committee on the Judiciary held a hearing entitled "The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009." The pending bill (S.909 - PDF) adds sexual orientation and sexual identity to existing hate crimes laws. Additional written statements are available here
